Principal Duties:

The principal duties of the Sales Director are to proactively and systematically develop new business for ZANASI printing systems by establishing sales strategies and plans. The Sales Director is responsible for creating and communicating sales goals and ways to achieve those goals. In addition, they monitor customers and increase the portfolio of active customers, prepare sales reports, build mutually beneficial relationships, and research prospective markets to determine potential actions.

Purpose:

  • The Sales Director leads the company’s efforts to maintain and expand relationships with customers in the assigned territory.
  • S/he is responsible for achieving revenue and market share goals by representing the entire range of company products and services to the assigned territory while creating sales pipelines and ensuring the company meets assigned customers’ needs and expectations.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement sales strategies in accordance with the company president.
  • Ensuring minimum sales standards such as margins and average order values are consistently met and exceeded.
  • Creating and setting price lists.
  • Constantly monitoring and analyzing sales trends and their trajectory to meeting the assigned targets.
  • Directing a sales team and back office to ensure that the company is achieving goals and customer service is up to standard.
  • Ensuring that sales and customer management teams implement customer relationship management strategies.
  • Establishing and cultivating medium and long-term relationships with any strategic partners.
  • Actively participating in trade shows, conferences, and workshops.
  • Developing, monitoring, and evaluating different strategies to effectively manage the sales team, and making changes if necessary.

 

Activities:

  • Supervising the activities of colleagues.
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to effectively implement strategies that achieve sales objectives.
  • Using effective team management to maximize company sales.
  • Being the main reference point for ZANASI’s leading customers (such as large clients and manufacturers).
  • Actively managing the sales team in planning and supporting their training and development and defining personal and team goals. Monitoring team performance to ensure everything is on track.
  • Creating and executing an annual sales plan that is continuously monitored to ensure adherence.

Formazione:

Qualifications:

  • Four-year college degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum five years of strategic sales experience in a B2B sales environment.
  • Proven sales executive experience, meeting, or exceeding targets.
  • Previous experience as a sales executive, sales manager, or sales and marketing director.
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
  • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services.
  • Proven ability to position products against competitors.
  • Demonstrable experience as head of sales, developing client-focused, differentiated, and achievable solutions.
  • Minimum 5 years in the packaging industry – inkjet printing preferred.
