TJET HEADS

The TJET printhead range reaches a print height of up to 50.8 mm (2”) to mark the packaging on one or both sides of one or two independent production lines. The heads can be combined in different positions and configurations, to create a flexible, customized system suitable for your specific marking needs.

The TJET heads, based on HP cartridge technology, are ideal for the precise and clean marking of alphanumeric texts (batches, dates), logos and complex code formats such as high-density DataMatrix. The high-quality printing with resolution up to 900 Dpi horizontal / 600 Dpi vertical and a maximum print speed of 180 m/min makes it a reliable solution for integration in high-speed lines, for perfect product readability and traceability in a wide range of sectors.

TJET complete range

The TJET heads can be positioned up to 4 mm away from the product and are available in the following versions:

– TJET12 single cartridge, with print height up to 12.7 mm (0.5″)

– TJET25 dual cartridge, with print height up to 25.4 mm (1″)

– TJET37 triple cartridge, with print height up to 38.1 mm (1.5″)

– TJET50 quadruple cartridge, with print height up to 50.8 mm (2″)

MANAGEMENT AND CONTROL

The Z4 console is used to manage and control the heads, select and verify the messages and manage the settings.

The system can also be remotely controlled using the management software Z-TIJ Remote Manager, which includes a simple and intuitive editor for the creation of messages.

Finally, Z4 communicates with external devices and programs via Ethernet, USB and serial port. The high connectivity and the structure designed to be built into the control cabinets, facilitate the integration of the system in multiple types of plants.

The structure of the TJET head, made of lightweight and durable aluminium, compact and equipped with a product detection sensor, facilitates insertion and integration in the packaging system and in confined spaces.

Printing flexibility

The system offers maximum flexibility in the combination of TJET heads for printing all types of messages, from the simplest to the most complex, and for product marking on the side and from top to bottom, with the possibility of tilting and orienting the text in all directions.

Reduced operating costs

Quick and clean cartridge replacement operation, with automatic recognition, makes the system maintenance-free. The printing parameters can be stored directly in any remotely created and managed message, thus reducing printing times and errors.

APPLICATIONS

The wide range of high-contrast solvent-based, pigmented, non-pigmented and food grade inks, available in various colours in smart ink cartridges, makes the Z4 coding solution suitable for the most varied materials, both with porous and non-porous surfaces.
