ZANASI’s design method stems from the study of the coding and marking process, through the eyes of the line operators who are responsible for ensuring high levels of productivity on the packaging lines every day.

The commitment to the design of coding solutions goes beyond the technical aspects of a simple message correctly printed on the product; today one must be able to provide, in a responsible way, value-added services by integrating transparently into the 4.0 factory system, to provide production companies with solutions and tools to be more competitive.

We believe that only through the radical approach to Industrial Design, where the operator is the starting point in the conception of a functional and ergonomic system, we can eliminate the distance between object and user.

Taking inspiration from the hi-tech world, the ZANASI product, that is the marking system, becomes iconographic and recognizable, starting from the external case. It communicates our innovation to users, with the precise aim of lowering the operator’s technological skepticism by eliminating what is superfluous, through the meticulous simplification of the HMI.

The rationality and simplification of the product support the goal of recognition: a lightened and two-dimensional vision of the machine, with two clearly distinct parts, the emotional part of the user experience and the machine body. The design is characterized by an ergonomic line that uses a combination of materials, contrasting shapes and colors, to map the important points of interaction with the physical parts of the printer and a capacitive touch screen that has been developed according to the logic of the most common tablets.

The functionalities are simple, recognizable and proportionate to the operator’s experience, they do not require specific training and, in an intuitive way, they favor a direct use experience between user and machine.
Ease of use is the basis of the project of the CIJ.Z inkjet system, with a functional design logic that instinctively activates a physical action on the device and automates repetitive actions.
