Z402

Z402 is a system designed to ensure uniform and constant performance even in particularly difficult production environments. It can control up to 2 NZ heads, 1 16 dot head or 2 7 dot heads, with a series of fonts and matrices essential to obtain high quality prints with up to 2 lines and a height between 5 and 60 mm, on the side, on the top and on the bottom of the packaging.

The constructive reliability of the system is ensured by the compact and solid stainless steel structure, equipped with internal ventilation and a high IP protection to withstand humidity, dust and high temperatures.

POWERED BY

The modern 7” colour display with touch screen allows to create messages, images and shapes using an intuitive graphic editor, facilitates data entry and the selection of printing processes. The interaction with the system is guided by the revolutionary Orkestra management software with customisable user interface for each operator.

NZ printheads allow to print alphanumeric texts, barcodes and logos with a maximum height of 190 mm on absorbent (paper, cardboard, wood), semi-absorbent and non-absorbent surfaces (PVC, polyester, rubber, aluminium, steel, glass, ceramic) thanks to the use of a wide range of inks.

Flexibility

Z402 offers the ability to combine printheads in different configurations depending on the type of application. In addition to the standard model, the heads are also available in the NZT (``TILT”) version with 5 inclination levels, to print as many heights.

Multi-control

The simultaneous management of 2 NZ heads is completely independent. It is indeed possible to create different messages for each one, monitor their status and change the printing parameters for each head separately.

Remote management

The heads are controlled, the messages are selected and edited and the settings are made using the Z402 console or a PC, with Orkestra Remote software, which allows to clean and calibrate remotely each nozzle of the printhead.

Connectivity

Thanks to the RS232 serial connection, the Ethernet connection and the USB port, the printer can be connected to other devices on the line, external databases with fixed and variable text fields can be accessed and system performance can be monitored remotely.

Full integration

The sealed structure, designed to withstand dust, water and extreme temperatures, the high connectivity and the features of Orkestra (online manuals, video tutorials, menus and multilingual keyboards) make it easy to insert the system in the most varied production contexts, making it ideal for OEM integrations.

Low TCO

Constructive solidity and almost total absence of maintenance ensure continuous production and limit downtime. The new coding experience led by Orkestra and Orkestra Remote simplifies and speeds up personnel training and daily work.

APPLICATIONS

The wide range of fast-drying, high-adhesion water-, alcohol- and solvent-based inks allows Z402 to print texts, barcodes and logos on a wide variety of surfaces. Particularly suitable to mark paper and plastic bags, cardboard packaging, wooden profiles, laminates and sheets, panels, pipes, construction and extruded materials, the system is used in numerous sectors such as metallurgical, extrusion, construction, petrochemical, ceramic, cement, food, livestock and automotive.
